PRODUCT INFORMATION

Carbon steel plate is an alloy plate with iron and carbon as the main components, and the carbon content is in the range of 0.0218%-2.11%. Do not underestimate the subtle changes in carbon content, it plays a key role in the performance of the plate.

When the carbon content is low, the bonding force between atoms inside the plate is weak, showing good toughness, easy to bend, press, cut, can be easily processed into a variety of complex shapes; When the carbon content increases, the bonding force between atoms is enhanced, the strength and hardness of the plate are greatly improved, but the toughness will decrease, and the processing difficulty will also increase.

MATERIAL INTRODUCTION

Q235 material

Low carbon steel, carbon content 0.14%-0.22%, good plasticity, toughness, good welding performance, yield strength of about 235MPa, often used in building simple steel structure, mechanical small load parts.

Q345 material

Low alloy high strength steel, add alloy elements, yield strength ≥345MPa, good low temperature impact toughness and welding performance, used for large projects and mechanical parts bearing large loads.

ES S235JR material

Carbon content 0.17%-0.23%, yield strength ≥235MPa, good weldability and processability, used for European construction and mechanical manufacturing of conventional structural parts.

production process

Raw material preparation

Select high quality iron ore, coke, limestone. Screening, crushing and mixing of raw materials to ensure uniform composition and preparation for smelting.

Iron Making

Put pretreated raw materials into a blast furnace proportionally. At around 1500℃, coke burns to produce CO, reducing iron ore, while limestone forms slag to remove impurities, getting pig iron for refining.

Steelmaking

Inject pig iron into a converter or electric furnace. Blow in oxygen, add slag agents to eliminate impurities, add alloy elements according to steel composition needs, and use self - developed control tech to meet molten steel composition standards.

Continuous Casting

Pour refined molten steel into the continuous casting machine's mold. It cools fast to form a shell, solidifies into a billet in the secondary cooling zone, and electromagnetic stirring improves its internal structure.

Heating

Feed the casting billet into a regenerative heating furnace and heat it to 1100 - 1300℃, strictly controlling temperature and time for even heating.

Rolling

Hot rolling or cold rolling according to product requirements.

Heat treatment

According to the material and use requirements, annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering and other treatment of rolled plates. Use rapid cooling technology to shorten the processing cycle and improve efficiency.

Surface treatment

Provide galvanizing, spray painting and other solutions.
